They were a Christmas gift so thats why they were purchased a month ago. But they forgot to ship them and when my mom called they then shipped them. So they might have been purchased a month ago but j just recently got them.

THEY sent you the defective boots, THEY need to cover the cost to return.

I would explain the situation.  The boots arrived in unsatisfactory condition....they need to fix their mistake.

I bought a pair of Twisted X boots from Boot Barn and when I got them they were scuffed up. I called them and they paid for the shipping to return them and sent me out another pair.

I just bought a pair of Twisted X boots from Schneiders and they didn't fit. I had to pay return shipping so I wasn't going to take a chance and just returned them instead of trying a different size. They sent me a check once they received them. It cost $12.00 to return them.

Since its a situation where the boots are defective i think THEY should cover everything!! Why should you pay for them sending you crappy merchandise? If they didn't fit your feet or you just didn't like them that would be another story...

I'd be ticked

I also believe since they were defective...You shouldn't have to pay anything.

sounds like a nice little scam going. they send out the wrong or damaged goods and make all kinds of money on restocking fees and shipping.
