Wisconsin Equine medical has been doing the clinical studies on Tildren for the last 5 years.  They are a wealth of knowledge.  I sent radiographs to them and they got right back with me.  He also answered a lot of unanswered questions that I had about it.  He did tell me that he would do the IV because it could help other things that you might not even know are going on and would only know with a MRI.  If the IV didn't work they had great success with doing the lower limb the second time around to add to it.

I did both regional and IV. I prefer the regional. JMO

This is my preference as well if you know the issue you are dealing with. In my case I did and I wanted the treatment concentrated to the area that needed it. There is a chance of colic with the IV and I didn't want to take that chance needlessly. The regional was also cheaper but as I said I knew the exact area I was dealing with if you don't I can see where the IV might be better. Just my opinion as well.
