As I am apt to do from time to time I was contemplating what changes I will make when I am crowned King of the world and while standing in a crowded Buc-ee's this morning trying to get to the Iced Tea dispenser while some Female water buffalo filled her pachyderm like hump with soda, it hit me
What is wrong with the world is that no one has to deal with Shame as a consequence of their actions.
First order of business once crowned. Reinstate the threat of, and the isolation from Shame.
Good day.

I completely agree. While I wouldn't hesitate to get on a program such as welfare if I really needed it to put food on the table, I would feel ashamed that I failed to support myself.
I think far too many people feel no shame in leaching off the system instead of working like the rest of us.
That's just my opinion though, I'm sure someone will be able to flame me for it.

I absolutely loved this post! I've been giggling for the last four miles! Riding shotgun next to my hubby and we got a good conversation out of this. I have a hard time standing behind super large people in line. I go in dreaming about a Zebra Cake fix and only end up with a pack of gum and a water...isolated from shame I am not...mama did good!

This post made my day. You DO have competition because I am aiming for Queen of the World. I refuse to share my reign.
