Ditto first one that came to mind when i saw this post. Really good choice and really nice stud. I watch a son of his run barrels in AZ here. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Easily Smashed was always a broodmare sire so not many sons standing. There are some super nice stallions out of his daughters out there. Too Tough To Catch is gorgeous. |

Location: Fort Worth / Springtown | I wish Smashed Bug hadn't have went from Roy Browning Ranches in OK to Mexico.
We took our mare to RBR to breed to him - he was beautiful and very well-mannered. Our gelding by him (25 years old now) his speed, power and toughness would bring tears to your eyes - he ran like a freight train - we really should have put him on the track, first - maybe it would have changed his fate - he ended up in a horrific accident before futurities, severing an artery and blood vessels, requiring transfusions and was given 10% chance of ever walking again. We took the chance and he came back to compete for several years off and on. He ran hard, but his leg couldn't handle turning that hard, so he was strung out in his turns or I had to hold him up and not let him get full speed. A lot of times, he still clocked - I wonder what might have been. He is character - very smart and tough as nails.
I wonder what happened to Smashed Bug.... |

Location: Texas | We have two fillies by Smashing N Dashing who is a maternal half brother to Lead The Field. He is in NM and has produced some winners. Ours are just starting the barrels, are very athletic and trainable. |

Location: SE KS | According to AQHA records Smashed Bug's last foal crop was in 1991?!?!? That seems "weird"!!! Did/Does AQHA not register foals from Mexico breeders or does Mexico have their own Association???? |

They don't register. They often change their name too, like to El Bumblebeeto, so you will never be able to find race records. |
