| What's the good, bad, and ugly? I just started my horses on it and I like it and like "what it's about", but I would like to hear your experiences and maybe see before and afters if you have them. Thanks! |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | Tried the tubs years ago and they were way to expensive for what they consumed. We have never had much luck with a lick tub and the horse's regulating themselves and these are ponies kept in 1000+ acre pastures full of grass so they aren't bored and they aren't hungry.
I tried a bucket of the loose stuff this past fall and didn't see a bit of difference on my weanlings. Too pricey so I switched.

Location: Way up North | I really like the tubs. I personally do not grain much if at all and only on the ones being rode and needing supplements added and all of my horses look great on just the tub and forage. They will start regulating but it takes a few tubs before they do. For five horses I say we go through one of the big tubs in 2+ months but to start out it was more like one every two weeks. My sister and my mom feed them now as well have had the same experience. I think mine look just fine on it. Yearling only on tub and hay (never been grained)

| My barrel mare won't touch the licks, but she gets a little less than a cup a day in her feed. My pasture ornaments loved the tub. My mare's hair coat/mane and tail has a better sheen to it. |

Location: Online | I like it. My horses like the tubs, almost too much. I just have a few on it when turned out in the winter. They all have smooth shiney winter coats.
I have compared the results to Platinum and haven't seen much difference other than price. It's waaaayyyyy cheaper than Platinum. And I LOVE Platinum - everything except the price. I still have one horse on Platinum and the rest on Equipride and they all look and feel the same. |

Location: Four Corners Colorado | I like it and the tubs. It really improved coats and hooves and I had to cut back my hay because everyone was getting fat. I did keep a free choice loose minerals out with the tubs so they could pick what they wanted so I didn't go through them very fast.

Location: Bennett, CO | We are sweet pro/equipride users. All my livestock: Horses, Sheep, Goats and Elk use their products. I'm a big believer, and feel that their tubs are the most bang for your buck on the market. My horses devoured the first few tubs....where I didn't think I would be able to afford them...but I stuck with them, and the consumption seems to have reduced itself to a small amount. I've been using the tubs for 5+ years |

| I've used equipride off and on for a few years. I got a free bucket of it once at a barrel race and fed it to the two I was running consistently. The mare's coat which was usually dry and dull stayed shiny all year round. She also seemed to be happier. It does wonders on feet and coat. But I agree with the tubs, I tried them since through the winter I don't grain much and they went through one in 3 days, I was not spending the money hoping that their consumption would slow down. I'd rather feed the loose stuff. |

Me too, my 5 head went through the smaller tub in 4 days and then I bought the bigger one thinking they would even off and that was gone in 10 days-so about $180 in less than 2 weeks-I just couldn't do it, now I wish I would have. I bought a bucket of equipride to give while I wait for flax to come in to the feed mill because of the omega's and only 3 of the five will eat it on their grain. I have one picky eater that refuses to eat anything now or it takes him forever to eat what little there is (even after cutting the equipride from his food) NOW what do I do?? been searching all morning for a good solid recommendation of some sort of feed/supplement to get him to eat well. uggh |

| I started using it again. I found my horse was happier. Hooves were also darker in color and not dry. I love equipride. I had stopped using it for a while but I'm back with it. |

Location: Down South Mississippi | I tried the tub several years ago for a nervous type horse, was convinced by the sales person that it would help this horse. He wouldn't touch the tub! Put it out for the cows and they wouldn't touch it either. Just started feeding the loose to a gelding a few weeks ago that kept patches of rain rot this summer. He's eating it fine (although it has a terrible odor!) Hoping to see some impressive results this time! We will see! |
