| I am planning on ordering buckles for the barrel race I'm organizing. Does anyone have any suggestions for which brand that is good quality and price? Any sugestions other than Bob Berg, Hyo Silver, and Montana Silversmiths. Thank you! |

Other than her I have ordered from Maynards and Leslie always makes some very nice buckles - always has gotten them to me very fast! |

Shea Michelle Buckle Designs on Facebook has buckles starting a little over $100 and they can customize anything.
I have also worked with Gist on buckles, and my mom has dealt with Tres Rios and DC Designs in the past. Would recommend any of those companies. We haven't had a bad experience with any of them. I've also got a nice buckle from A Cut Above, a couple nice ones from Maynard, and I have a gorgeous Lone Star one as well. All of them are nice quality, it's just a matter of finding exactly what you are looking for in your price range.
In this picture, the top row is Shea Michelle, DC Designs, and Maynard. Middle row is A Cut Above and Tres Rios. Bottom row is Gist and Lone Star. I know for a fact that the DC, Tres Rios and Gist buckles pictured were less than $120 each, and I am guessing the A Cut Above one was in that ballpark as well. Have no idea on the Maynard buckle or the Lone Star one, but I'd expect that Shea Michelle buckle to be in the $150 range.
