I found a trailer I am very interested in buying, fits almost exactly what I want with a small LQ package.  However, it does not have a shower or toilet, which I really do want.  It does have a sink, but does not have a water heater.

Question:  how hard/expensive is it to add a shower/toilet combo down the road if I wanted to?  Or how about just a cowboy shower in the 1st stall of the horse area?  What about a water heater?

For those who have cowboy showers in their trailer, how do you like them?  Do you find them a pain or have you found an easy way to get the water to drain out?

I would either PM Cindy Hamilton, as this is what she does for a living, or go to the Trailer Horse World Forum and you will get all kinds of answers.

Our trailer was the same way, it just had a sink. When we started going to shoots further away and wanted to spend the night, my husband installed a water heater and a cowboy shower. We just have a porta potty in the first stall. He's duck hunting this weekend, but I'll ask him what website he used when he was doing all of the work. It had a diagram that he used for all of the plumbing lines. I think he did it all in a couple of days if I remember right.

We like it, we only go in the summer so being cold in the shower isn't an issue. We just stand in a Rubbermaid tub and dump the water out before we leave. We could probably just let it drain on the floor but I'm paranoid.

I just remembered it!!! Www.todd.redwrench.com

This site is so awesome, my husband said he wouldn't have been able to do all of the plumbing stuff without it.

Maybe it's just me but I would not have a shower in my horse compartment. I bed my trailer to keep poop and pee off the floor so I darn sure don't want to soak it with a shower.
