| Hi All -
My best friend is in the process of moving to Ft. Pierre and long story short, the place she had lined up has turned into a real HOLE/ DUMP! The pictures of it that were sent to her are not what the place actually happens to be ... so when she showed up today to find broken windows and dead things in the bathroom, she was a little ... ummm... disappointed.
She is in need of a place to rent for herself, cat n dog included. She also has 2 horses to either board somewhere or at the rental place. She is full time employed and will be able to pay a deposit and etc that is normal with renting.
Please let me know and send prayers her way!!
Thanks much! |

A great friend of mine is Timber Creek. She lives on a ranch outside Ft Pierre but might have some ideas for your friend. She's gone to the BHSS right now but will be back late tomorrow night if I remember right. Send her a PM and see if she can help you out. I'm sorry your friend had bad luck. Ft Pierre has a lot of nice people but there's always got to be some bad ones in the lot to ruin it. If you don't get a hold of her please let me know and I'll give her a call. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | My brother in law lives across the river in Pierre. I would suggest her going there for housing. Everyonein Pierre calls it Fort Pudd. It is a pretty run down little town last time I was there. Prayers she finds something. That is awful |

I have a SIL that lives outside of Pierre too. They used to have a rental house but I think they sold it. Shan (Timber Creek) works for the US Courts in Pierre so I'm sure she'll have a lot of different options. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I think that huge river is neat. The dam and all. We used to go there every year for pheasant hunting. Would love to go to the horse races, just the wrong time of year as we are calving then. |

After living in SD for 7 years... it has a special place in my heart too. I have not spent alot of time in and around Pierre but I most likely will be soon! |

Location: South Dakota | Hi there, what a rotten thing for your friend to have to go through. I don't think there are probably lots of places that board horses but I'll do some checking. I can think of one person just outside of Fort Pierre that may board horses. She may have to extend her search to Pierre which isn't a big deal as they are basically connected. |
