My mom just agreed to have some put in our tank at the house for $3.19, which is down about a buck a gallon from last week. Prices are supposedly dropping which would be good!!!!!

We went & bought a few of those little square space heaters. I have two running in my house: one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom. I was told that you can estimate that they cost $.15 an hour to run, so every day I'm spending around $7 to heat my two main rooms. $210 a month sounds like a lot but it drops my propane usage enough that it helps rather than hurts right now.

$3.65 today. I have my furnace thermostat set at 50° with a few space heaters going to keep propane usage down. I only have 30% left in my tank and that's after getting 100 gals 2 weeks ago cuz that's all he'd put in. Hopefully prices drop more cuz even set at 50 I'm not sure I can get through the next couple months without more lp.

A friend texted this to me this morning. "It was cheaper to burn the couch and love seat than to buy a tank of butane. So, I did."   LOL

It is over $6 per gallon in eastern KS as well.  We bought 250 gal a month ago at $2.09 per gal. (250 added, filled to 76%) Wish I knew it was going to sky rocket, I would of bought more at the time.  We put in a 30,000 BTU ventless propane heater in our living room and it keeps our house warm and luckily only uses about half a % per day so should have enough propane to last until middle of April if I figured it right (that is getting down to about 25% left in tank).  That was about the best investment we have made lately.

I don't know what it is around here(Washington state) because I called and cancelled the keep filled.  We had a vent collapse under the house and a $380 electric bill for one month.  Last month(fixed vent 1/2 way through the month when we found it) got electric bill of $260.  I don't want to think about what the propane would have cost on top of it all.
Just got an email today that the power company is asking for ANOTHER rate increase.  I couldn't make myself read any further.
A couple days ago I did see a news report showing a pig farm and the 69 degree barn was costing them $8,000 instead of $2,000 to heat.  Ouch!  This isn't helping anyone out.

When we had Ferrellgas and got the billing hung on our doorknob we would always call the Co-Op and they were consistenly 30 cents cheaper.  Soooo we'd call FG and they'd say okay we'll charge you the same.  Think of how many people didn't do that.  Finally went to Wayman and cut out the aggravation.  Nice folks.

Is Wayman in eastern ks like Ferrell? I don't deal with Ferrell since they have always been the most expensive around here compared to the other companies.  We have been using Lybarger but am always shopping for a cheaper company.

Thanks

I used Ferrelgas for ONE year - the start up price sounded really good, then the bills just went up, up, up - I'm surprised anybody uses them at all! I agree, the Wayman folks are also very friendly BESIDES being cheaper!
