Any suggestions on a generic store brand diaper?  The daycare changes Delaney 7-9 times a day and it's getting expensive.  Anyone have good luck with a cheaper diaper?  We use Swaddlers at home and overnight.

Target brand diapers!  After Christmas I bought up a bunch of the Christmas diapers at half off.  Turned out to be 9 cents a diaper.

Sams club has thier own brand, huge box and you can get thier brand of wipes also.  Comes out way cheaper per diaper and they worked just as good as Pampers.

Wal-Mart, Costco, Kmart or Vons.

I used the Kmart and Vons and loved them, but I preferred the Kmart over Vons. We don't have a Wal-Mart or Costco but I have some friends who swear by them.

I second the sams club brand. I use cloth diapers 90% of the time but recently bought some sams disposables. You would not believe the money I have saved with using cloth. So I always recommend them and they are not as complicated and gross as people think. I was one that thought my friends were nuts for using them but tried them and fell in love. All kinds of cute designs too.....

Cloth diapers with liners?? They are cheaper in the long run and dont' generate so much waste. With the new ones they are easier then ever to use.....

I paid just a few dollars more for the luv brand than the cheap brand. My daughter had a horrible, absolutely horrible rash down there because of the diapers, and it wouldn't take long for the diaper to get soaked to the point I had to throw her in the tub.

I had to change her diaper every 30 minutes when I used the cheap ones. My daycare uses alot of diapers as well, I pay now $19 for a box of 100 for size 3, and those will last me a week, sometimes a week and a half. Pampers are in general expensive! Try the luvs, I really really like them!

I used Luv diapers & had no problem with them.  My MIL babsat her one day a week & would use these diapers that had smiley faces on them, even though I provided diapers, and she would get a horrible rash & yeast infection.  I finally had to tell her not to use them or she could pay for the Dr visit & deal with a screaming baby.  I would buy a package of the more expensive ones and only use them at night or if we were going to be in the car for awhile.

I second the Luvs brand. With our first son we had so many diapers from the showers that it was quite a while before we had to buy any diapers. We had a variety of brands and sizes so we got a really good idea of what fit him and didn't break him out. I do like the feel of the Swaddlers though. Our second son is now two weeks old and I've tried Luvs, Swaddlers and the Huggies. He's still too small for the huge box of size ones of the Huggies I got, and have been buying the Luvs. So far so good for us.

Once and a while you can find good coupons for diapers. Our Dillon's store (Kroger) has digital coupons and sometimes they let you use both a digital coupon and a manufacturer's coupon and get pretty decent savings by doing that.

Not sure a daycare would agree to use cloth diapers, would be an option for home though.

Yea I try to as much GREEN things as possible and anyway I can save money I will try at least once.

There are just so many options out there for cloth diapers now days. Like I said before never ever even thought about doing until my 2 friends talked me into it one time.

As far a daycare not wanting to do it just bring a big wet along and tell them to put everything in there and you can take care of the rest later. That how I usually do it when someone watches my little guy. I dont see what the problem would be just snap and go..

I found the cases at Costco was the best deal. I think Sam's club would probably be similar. I bought Huggies and never had a problem with diaper rash. My daughter was in a daycare that changed constantly too. It was good cause she never had a rash but could be hard on the wallet too.

Huggies, Pampers, Luvs, Parents Choice: ALL leaked.

Dollar General brand did not. They are the best by far. They FEEL better than the parents choice (Walmart brand). They hold a lot more (overnight) and even bad poops are contained.

I swear by DG brand diapers.

Whichever the ones are that have the bumblebee's on them, I think I got them at Dillons or Walmart. Come in a green box. Otherwise I have bumgenius on hand..they are expensive to buy but in the long run they pay for themselves.
