I do hair for a living and yes it really does make a huge difference for people with curly frizzy hair- make sure it is actually the keratin treatment and not a cheaper brand- its well worth the money reduces frizz up to 95%- you can color the day you do it if you color before- and I would recommend you do your color first because the keratin treatment will close the cuticle down- which is what helps reduce frizz- color opens the cuticle so for best results color right before- also you cannot wash your hair or pin it ponytail clip it for 3 days so I always recommend my clients to do it on a day or 2 before your days off at work

Rockin BS - 2014-02-26 2:39 PM I'd call your stylist about it on the pricing.  I think full price here in the Tulsa, OK area is around $160 - the one that my stylist uses anyway & it DOES last about 6 mths & it works on my crazy hair.  The key is using the right shampoo & conditioner AFTER getting the treatment.  You seriously have to use shampoo & conditioner that is sulfate free.  I haven't had to do my hair in like year & half but found this ION brand shampoo at Sally's Beauty Supply (you can find it online too if you google - ION Smooth Solutions).  It's Sulfate & Paba free shampoo & conditioner.  Mind you, haven't done a treatment on my hair in a long, long time when I found this shampoo/conditioner - it has kept my hair smooth & silky like the treatment did.  You might try it even if you don't go do the treatment.  It's pretty inexpensive.

Thank you for the quote and the tip on shampoo!  I like your price better than $300. LOL

I like the mini keratin. Last about 6-8 weeks and costs about 40 dollars. Wouldn't live without it!

Another thing you could try is a Re-Cell treatment (or something like that).  It costs around $25.00 and takes about 30 minutes at the salon.  My hair isn't extremely frizzy or rough textured, but enough so to drive me crazy.  This stuff works for me!
