Location: Okla | I had a dog that couldn't move legs on one side after being hit broadside by a big dog. I chose not to do an MRI and the vet suggested 30 days crate rest with anti-inflammatories. He also suggested a chiropractor, since he was certain nothing was broken.. The dog was not in pain anywhere, just couldn't move legs. She's fine now after several trips to the chiro. Had a pinched nerve. |

I would take him to a vet that does acupuncture and chiro. We had a dog that was walking sideways and would fall down. We found a vet that did the above and it worked great.
Let me know where you live and I will look up to see if I can find you anyone in your area.

Location: Home of the World Famous "Silver Bullet" | chad went to the ER vets immediately. they are not top of theline. went back the next night, left there and went to UF. got there around mid-night. they kept him. x-rays were done but nothing. UF thinks the injury is in his neck. he is on rymadal and tramadol and another pain drug for nuro injuries. we are in north florida. our equine chiro looked at him and gave us some homo meds. she was not willing to do more than that at this time. the mri was 12-15. then it went to 2k maybe 2500. its alot of money . chad is 9 and we have had him since 10 weeks. please pray. thank yall for the encouragement. |

Location: Nowhere Special | My Chi had a back injury in Dec.. No idea how he did it to himself but he was in a LOT of pain, he was not falling over or dragging his toes(is your dogs gait altered or is he dragging his feet?) is he falling over because of pain or because of cordination? We also did the x rays and made 4 trips to the vet, before they found inflamation in his spine.. Crate rest, steroids and meds took a few weeks but he is A Ok now.. Hope everything works out |
