| I have doing a little research on some topics I found interesting lately and came acrossed the website horseprerace.com that several people have been ordering their injectables from... Obvisouly the website is shady... no physical contact address just a phone number (just to be used for ordering, I called it) and an email address (desinged for product questions)... There are also several drugs that do not require RX from a vet like bute, banamine or even lasix (a simular diuretic is advertised with dex) and lastly a ton of pre race enhancers.... I started looking up the reliabilty of the site just because I curious how it enticed so many people to order from it even though it seems a bit shady. We like to know what we are putting into our horses dont we? I do... I treat them as i do myself. Would I chance my own health let alone my horse's since I spend XXX amount of money on feed, rigs, vet bills, tack and entry fees??? NO! So this is what I dug up from a relaible race horse forum website that has an article written specifically for illegal drugs and testing.... guess what came up in the article.... horseprerace.com..... hmmm. heres the article http://www.drf.com/news/deluded-trainers-using-diluted-drugs
JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Out of curiosity I went to the website and clicked on a product called "Plug It" made for bleeders to aid in the prevention of........and nowhere did it even state WHAT it was......scary. |

Location: Viola, IL | The website is kind of scarey. But I have ordered generic omenprazole from them and had great results with it. I know quite a few people whom have. |

| but from the article's stand point they arent even putting into their compounds what they are stating on their label since the forum wrote they tested a few products... I know quite a few people have ordered their pentason from them... but whose to say thats what you are getting because its not regulated... Most importantly the business as a whole seems sketchy so chances are their other products arent what they say they are...

I'm not sure that's what exactly they were stating. They were "finely" wording their labels to make it sound like it was something more then it was, when in fact it was tested and shown not to be as potent or effective.
Overall it's the same old buyer beware. What they are doing is not illegal. People just need to do their research and educate themselves well prior to buying. The DRF definitely was informative to make ppl aware which was nice. |

| Im sure I will get flamed but I have ordered from them for at least 4 years. I have ordered the Pentosan and ulcer meds. I was able to get the pentosan when it was out here in the states. The company is in Canada. |
