Heeler Hater Posts: 3014 Location: Texas	I've never seen this bit and don't even know what its called. Google doesn't pull anything up. Its a Dom Hansen twisted wire three piece but it has these two rings around the mouth piece. I was told that's what the headstall attaches too but it looks wrong. Any ideas? I'd be scared of the horse I had to put that on! If the horse is half as bad as that bit we'd be in big trouble. I'd sell it to or use it for decoration. Maybe take it apart and remove the inside rings.

Expert Posts: 1218 Location: Great NW	A bit is only as harsh as the hands using it. It works on some others not so much. I have used it for slow work - better in my opinion than a single twist. it takes a few days of riding in it for a horse to pay attention. Do not look for results the first ride.
