Possible TMJ issues?

I have a mare that had ulcers. Had a little bit of everything... not finishing feed, extreme nervousness, cinchy and all that good stuff. Started her on Omeprazole and her attitude has totally changed. Not acting nervous, cinchy or any of that stuff, however she isn't finishing all of her feed still. She is doing much better than she was.. because she was barely touching it before, but she still leaves some where all my other horses clean everything up and would still lick their buckets for hours. She will be due for teeth floating around the last of summer. It could be part of the issue, however I have had some suspicions that she may have some TMJ issues. She was shaking her head during warm up and just acting goofy and I asked someone who used to be a chiropractor if they knew what could be going on... she felt around on her and said she thinks she's got something going on in her jaw.
I am about to set up a chiro appt for her anyway. I know little to nothing about TMJ problems. I notice her turn her head now and then at feeding time, and I wondered if this could be part of it.
Since I have had her on treatment for ulcers for a while, I started riding her more again. She isn't acting crazy, spooky or nervous like before... but I do feel like she is sore somewhere and I am the worst about pinpointing where. She does things at a walk very well, trot is okay.. To the right she doesn't like to tip her nose very much and wants to bow out and not trot circles... same thing at a lope. Has anyone else had similar issues or had one act this way under saddle with TMJ issues? Of course it could be anywhere, however I didn't know if her stiffening up and not tipping her nose could be a part of it.

I have a gelding with what I believe is TMJ issues...roots at the bit, very busy with his mouth...I am having a chiro/massage session done on him this week, and hope it helps!! He is very sensitive and hurting, when I do the Masterson Method air gap over his TMJ joint, and he releases a lot, but seems like he needs some Chiro to fix it, so hope to follow up with the MM and keep it feeling good..fingers crossed!!
You can check the Masterson Method of working on the TMJ video on you tube..
