Does anyone ride in one? What is your horses back lookin like? Short, Long, Wide, Narrow? How does it ride?

Unfortunately I can't find a dealer or really know any barrel racers in the area that ride in a combs so if I think it will fit my boy, I'll have to buy on a whim.

You can send a PM to Timber Creek.  She has one.  Also if you send an email to Connie she would give you an honest opinion on the type of horse her saddle fits.

I have one and it is the most comfortable secure saddle I've ever rode in.   Most of the time I was riding it on my very high withered horse.  I wish I had a picture but it seems to dig in to his withers.  I tried using a biofit pad which seemed to help.  I've gone back and forth on how I think it fits my other horses.  (I really need a saddle fitter).  I've got to stay in town for basketball tonight but tomorrow night I can try to get some pictures of it on a horse if you'd like.

If you have time that would be great but surely no rush. I'm beyond frustrated finding saddles to fit and just when I think I have it all figured out, I don't. Haha, SADDLES ARE SO DARN CONFUSING.

I had one a long time ago. It was a really comfortable saddle to me ..but sadly it never fit any of my horses right so I finally sold it.

The only saddle I have ridden for the past 30 yrs. I have a square skirted one and a round skirted one. They have both fit all my horses. I use the round one when I ride colts. I call it my security blanket. I love them both. Never found another saddle that rides as well and fits a variety of horses. Get on facebook or go to www.conniecombs.com and ask Connie. She will help you with your questions.
