Location: Nebraska | Has anyone tried generic GastroGuard (Omeprazole) for horse ulcers? It is much cheaper than the brand name, but I was curious if anyone had results using it? Thanks in advance! |

Location: Nebraska | found 60mL tube (=6 regular size tubes) @ horseprerace.com for $34.95 (calculates to $5.83/regular size tube)...its just called omeprazole paste.
anyone ordered from them and had good results? I read on another horse forum website that it's every bit equivalent to GastroGuard and they had great results. |

Location: Millen Ga | A friend of mine orders from them ( horseprerace) with good results. She said the name brand stuff gave her more results so she does that for week or so first then swaps to this. |

| I have used ulcercureotc and have had great results, I like it as I don't have to put it in their mouth, just mix with a little grain. |

| Talk to your vet, I get a compounded form that has omeprazole and ranitidine in it and it is less than ten dollars a tube, and it works just as well as the ulcer-guard. Good luck |

| I too use the Ulcercure OTC from ulcercureotc.com. Love this product. It made my gelding a completely different horse. I still use it as a maintenance supplement. |
