Location: Somewhere around here | What bits do you use on your hard to please horses? I feel like I have to switch my horse into a different bit or hackamore every month. I don't think it's fair to him to keep on switching it but sometimes I don't know what else to do. |

I've heard to only use those on hard mouthed horses. Is that true?
Haha I have just about every kind of bit in my tack room besides a chain mouth too. Maybe I need to scoot on over to nrsworld.com and check out their chain bits.... |

Not for a hard mouth, LOL...I will see if I can find a picture are 2 of the ones that I have..

| What is your horse doing, why do you feel like you need to change bits o. A monthly basis?
When I switch bits, I put a lot of thought into what the horse is doing, why the horse is doing what they are doing.
Then I look at the mechanisms of bits and see if I can find a bit to compliment the horse |

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | Perhaps a Waterford mouth piece would suit you best. My guess is your an aggressive rider and has contact on the mouth at all time. This fits comfortalble in the mouth and your horse can't lean on it. |
