Ima Non Controversial Girl Posts: 4168 Location: where the wind blows	Think I finally have hubby surrendered to another house cat after I lost mine 2 years ago. I've always wanted a Ragdoll but hokey Dinah they're pricey. Found a ragdoll/Siamese snowshoe cross and a ragdoll/angora cross that seem interesting. I had a Siamese for 16 years growing up so know what they are like. Those of you with ragdolls would you stay pure or do any of you have a cross? Anyone with angora cats? Don't know much about them.

Northern Chocolate Queen Posts: 16576 Location: ND	I bought a ragdoll siamese cross a few years back. He is an AWESOME cat. Big, gorgeous & full of personality. I ended up giving him to my grandma as my other cat I had at the time absolutely hated him. Grandma also has a purebred ragdoll & while he's also gorgeous I like the personality of the cross a lot better.

The biggest difference in the 2 is the cross is more outgoing & social where the purebred is more on the timid/shy side. But that could easily be because they where raised differently also as one was raised in a family & the other in a kennel.

Unfortunately he had a genetic heart problem and died when he was only 10.Ragdolls are so fun. You do have to keep them inside tho because they will not fight for themselves. He will sneak outside only to make you walk out so he can throw his self down so you can pick him up. And he wont take up for his self. But he is so sweet. I have siomesse (sp) crosses and they are bigger that he lets be boss. I also have a soft furred solid white cat the he is good friends with they will sleep inches away. Luv my raggie cat not a mean bone on him.

It's not my fault I'm perfect Posts: 13739 Location: Where the long tails flow, ND	I have a rag doll! He is a funny little man with turned out back feet. He wasn't show quality so I got him free from a breeder. My tip for you is to keep him groomed and I keep his belly either shaved or cut short.
