I need to know - which is a better trailer, an Elite or a Platinum?
Please give me your opinions. The good, the bad and the ugly. :) |

Location: Oklahoma or who knows maybe trucking ? | Elite is the best made trailer there is as far as trailers . But either one is good you will get a better resale out of Elite trailers they hold their value.

Totally agree. Just got my second brand new Elite a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier. They are so high quality, I would never purchase another brand. |

Location: Oklahoma | Platinum and Elite are nearly identical in quality. I personally LOVE a Platinum but they are both very similar. The interior would be the seller for me on a used trailer...I would ONLY buy an Outlaw. Their customer service is nothing less than the best. I've had 4 Outlaws and never, ever had a problem with Outlaw. My neighbor kid stripped all of the electronics out of one (little *******) and they fixed it back like new. Signature Quarters is doing a good job as well from what I've heard too. Outlaw will send someone out at 2am to fix something if needed, I can't describe their customer service other than AWESOME!! |

This.....I love both Platinum and Elite...have had both and was happy with both as far as the trailer goes, but I've owned several LQ's that weren't Outlaw and I was always sorry. Always ended up going back with Outlaw. |

Location: At the barn | I've had both. Elite didn't do it for me. It seemed to be well built until you got on top of it. The roof looked like hell. Just not very well built there. It had Outlaw LQ and was gorgeous but I don't feel like the trailer was made as well as the Platinum I have now. |

Location: Kansas (but Great Lakes member since 1978) | Contact Duba's in Chambers, NE. They do outstanding interiors and are great to work with. He is a Platinum dealer also. You might have to wait a little while but you'll be extremely happy with your outcome. He is great to ask questions to and is honest and the day is long. |

Location: Work hard and Play hard | Definately the Elite I have owned 4 and they have all been Outlaw conversion , I have owned 2 Platinum and I will never own anything but Elite they are made better and they pull great. I haul a lot of miles so I need the best one out there. |

Location: Oklahoma | If you are going to haul a lot you need an Elite there is nothing built as tough and that will hold the road as nice plus hold its value. But if you just haul a little the Platinum would be ok it is built good to just not as tight as the Elite. I have seen a lot of pretty Platinums I would like if I didn't haul so much , but as much as I go I need the Elite . I have had both and from experience my Platinums have never held up as well as my Elites have nor did I get the money out of them like I did my Elites. |
