http://www.nicuhelpinghands.org/angel-gowns/ I have been trying to find something to do with my wedding dress. I sent off a few emails to have it made into a quilt... got no response and then seen a post on facebook on about Angel Gowns... You donate your dress to be made into gowns for those special babies that are taken to soon... There is more info on the site or their page on facebook.

I also saw this on FB. At first I thought it a. It strange but then I decided it was an awesome idea. I hate seeing gowns just thrown in a second hand store somewhere. To me they all have a story. Yea I'm a little strange. I think this i a Great way to give those beautiful angels a beautiful resting gown.

My cousin had her baby at 23 weeks & she lasted 52 minutes & little Morgan patience was buried in a gown made from a recycled wedding dress donated to the hospital. I've been thinking about donating mine.

My sister just put this information on facebook. I think it is a great idea!! I had never heard of them before but I will be sending my dress also. It has been hanging in my closet for 30 years wasting space!

I'm thinking the same thing. I spend a ton of money to have mine cleaned and boxed in a box to keep it from yellowing right after my wedding. I figured if I had daughters they may want it, but I was blessed with 2 beautiful boys. I really like the idea. I just need to find my dress now :

Thank you for posting this!  I saw it on Facebook but I didn't write the name down and I forgot.  I would much rather send mine to this than take it to a second hand store.  This sounds so wonderful!!!
