Location: Texas | I was so excited about how our boy did this weekend that I wanted to send a message to the breeder of our horse. I found her on Facebook and when I tried to send her a message, it said that since I was not a 'friend' it would go to her 'other' box or for $1 it would go into her regular mailbox. First of all, I did not know there was an 'other' box, sure enough I had old stuff in my 'other' box. And how do they charge you the $1? |

Location: Displaced Iowegian | It is kind of "random". I have sent messages to people that were not friends and didn't get that message about the $1 charge and then sometimes, I do...... FB thought it was a good way to make money but I seriously doubt if very many pay the $1........LOL |

Location: Florida.. | some people have a filter on messeges.. where only friends can messege them.. if your not friends it goes to other folder.. alot of times people will check other folder and some dont. its easier to request friendship. |

Location: Millen Ga | It will go to her other box and its a toss up as to if she sees it, depends on if she checks it or not. I have a CC on file with FB because my daughter was playing a game and gave me her babysitting money to spend on the game. It will charge the card you have on file if you have one. I have had that message pop up before but never have forked over the dollar. |
