With God all things are possible

| When we talk about something written "for" us though not necessarily "to" us, this passage is a perfect example. God gave Asaph an understanding that transcends the ages.
Psalm 50:12-23 If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the word "is" Mine, and all its fullness. Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. But to the wicked God says : what right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth. Seeing you hate instruction and cast my words behind you? When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have been a partaker with adulterers. You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother's con. These things you have done, and I kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you. but I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes. Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear for you in pieces, and there be none to deliver; whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.
First, we comprehend the source of our strength. Does God need us or do we need God? God needs us only because He has chosen to include us in His plan. God doesn't need our tithe, but He receives it as an act of obedience and worship to Him. God does not need our thanksgiving, praise, and worship. But we praise the Lord because He is the author of praise and we believe He is the giver of all good things Jas 1:17
God has something much different to say to the wicked. His warning is contemporary and relevant today. Powerful people quote portions of Scripture they do not even believe or understand to strengthen their point and make their argument. We see it as something of a current phenomenon, but it is as old as time. God's opinion is clear; they are hypocritical and speak foolishly. There are consequences for hypocrisy. When we find ourselves manipulating rather than responding to God's Word, the warnings in this psalm are for us. But when we live our lives in harmony with the will and way of God, we find favor. Remember, your walk talks, and your talk talks, but your walk talks louder than your talk talks.
Father, guide me today, I NEED YOU! Bless me Father, guide me to do all things that will always bring glory and honor to You. AMEN
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
