TrailGirl - 2014-04-03 7:35 AM  So...for I guess about 20 years of my working life I wore scrubs...or occasionally jeans to work.   My new job is more on the regulatory side of things and the attire is "business or business casual".  Jeans on Fridays...but the rest of the week it's slacks and skirts/dresses.  It was kinda neat at first...but I'll confess I am missing the ease of wearing scrubs and not having to think about what I'm gonna wear each day...and did I wear that last week etc.  At least I was smart enough to buy slacks that don't require dry cleaning or ironing!

So...I wear slacks 99% of the time...with a few skirts/boots thrown in and tights in the winter.  Now that spring is here I have lots of work appropriate spring/summer skirts and dresses I want to wear.  My dilemma...to wear sheer panty hose or go bare....what is the fashion/appropriate look these days?

I am long legged and short waisted.  So I kinda freakin hate pantyhose.  They just don't fit all that great.  And thigh highs don't want to stay up reliably all day.   And then there's the heat factor.  So...wear them or not?  If yes...any recommendations on brands?  It's been so long since I really bought any that I had to wear all day.

I would say we need some pictures. With and without.

I don't wear hose unless I am lazy and don't want to share that day. The other time I wear hose is if I have hit a barrel and have a big ole bruise lol.

One of the reasons I enjoyed driving semi. This was never a question I had to ponder. If it were me, I'd probably have to wear pantyhose because between the death white of my legs, the many colored bruises and the red scars, nobody wants to see my bare legs. patterned tights anyone?

Thanks ladies!

I work in a university/medical school in research compliance.  So it's more relaxed than say a law office or corporate setting.  If I have a meeting with the chancellor or something...I'll wear slacks/blazer or something.  Otherwise it's pretty relaxed.

Sounds like I can just go bare legs with most of my skirts/spring dresses.  THAT is good news.  I keep the gams shaved smooth all the time as I can't stand the feel of prickly legs myself.  And...I'm not too pasty white I don't think.  Besides...I just ordered that sunless tanner from Sephora!

USE the mitt that it comes with. Or you WILL dye your hands - personal experience here. Lol

Also, maybe do it a day or two BEFORE you plan to wear a skirt just in case of any flubs. Brazilliant is awesome and WORKS, but takes some scrubbing to fade if you mess it up - again, personal experience.

Hope you like it!!!
