We were at a meeting last night MO is going to vote in Nov on Amendment that will add a bill to the MO constitution It is an amendment to protect the Farmers & Ranchers ( MO people if you have not read up on Amendment one please do if you like to eat you need to support this) Anyway back to the info I wanted to share with you The HSUS does not operate, control, or support any Humane Society in the US. All those commercials they have on with those poor animals raising money wanting you to help with monthly payments ........ only 1% of that money ever goes to actually help the animals |

The HSUS does not operate, control, or support any Humane Society in the US.

I'm glad you brought this up. I did know this, but SOOOO many people don't realize that donating to HSUS does NOT help their local humane society shelter.
HSUS is just another PETA.
And yes, we Missourians need to support this bill! |

| One of my sil's absolutely refuses to believe this info. I've known for years and tried to tell her if she wants to help to walk into a shelter and donate directly. She's a leftie nutcase. Had a fit that I take the eggs away from my chickens! That kind of stuff.
HSUS is more closely related to PETA than the Humane Society. |

| Oh I am so sorry - we have several of those in our town and always get mad and make comments that I fix my male horses because that's interfering with nature. Well Yea !!!!! |

Location: The edge of no where | It needs brought up over and over and over! Those commercials infuriate me when I know they are using the $$$$ donated for huge adminstrative salaries.
PETA has a very ugly record of not helping animals directly. They don't even try to find home before putting them to sleep.

| I worked at an Animal Control facility for 2 years...absolutely NO LOVE for the HSUS. They made our job SO much more difficult than it already was.  |
