Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | Didn't want to hack the other thread. All the cow breds we've had we're in the 14 - 15 hh range. Are there any blood lines that run a bit taller? |

Location: Adopt a homeless pet - www.petfinder.com! | I've had 3 100% cowbreds, they're my preference. One was 14.3, one 15 (he's Peppy San Badger/Colonel Freckles and big boned) and my current one is about 14 hands, if you stretch the tape. He's by Dually Pep, a full brother to Dual Pep. SImilar breeding to Trevor Brazile's Texaco and current rope horse and they are both abut 14 hands so those bloodlines seem to run on the shorter side, but stout. |

Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | I love cow breds but they've all been short. However, I'm starting see some that aren't. I rode a horse a few years back that I fell in love with, but wasn't able to buy when he came up for sale. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/zans+scooten+parr He was 15 hh + and as stout as he was tall, with really good legs and very laid back. He was perfect!!! |

I love love love the ZPB horses! Unfortunately I have a hard time finding any for sale. I don't know how many people consider him "cow bred" but they are very versatile, and the ones I've been around are 15+
Vegas is a ZPB and she took me to nationals in 4 events multiple years. Sweetest mare I've ever owned too! |

Location: East Tennessee but who knows?! | I've seen some ranch/foundation bred horses that are BIG but I can't remember the blood lines. The ones I've seen, I remember thinking they were lesser-known bloodlines. They were running at 15 hands on the low side.
My mare has a good bit of cow and she's a solid 15.1 but she's got some other stuff in there too --

Location: Central Montana | My mare Playgirl With Cash is 1/2 peformance 1/2 speed, she stands about 15.2 or a little taller.
My gelding is totally reining/foundation bred, Dunit In Creme. He is massively built and stands also at about 15.2. He is not a typical Hollywood Dunit though. I've seen more that are cute, petite, and around 14.1 to 14.2 hands. |

Location: LaBelle, Florida | I have a Playboy Boonsmal daughter who is 3 this year. She is about 14h right now, however, her rear is about 3 inches taller. Sire and dam are both 15h or better. I'm hoping she doesn't get taller than 15h because I don't want to climb onto anything taller. |

| Mine are 14 to 14.3 hands maybe 15, they are cutting / areana breed though. The biggest mare is out of a daughter of freckles playboy and that mare is over 15 hands and and a finished cutter.
I went to a cutting clinic and there was a horse that was over 16 hands there he was a freak could really get down and work then this giant stood up when he was done. I've always wondered what was on his papers.
I guess our ranch horses would be called cowbreed too, they are 15 -16+ hands, the tallest does have run on his papers but it is back at the end.

| The only cow bred I've worked with is only 2 right now, but he is a stocky 14.1hh gelding, so I don't doubt he'll be over 15 hands when he's fully grown. |
