 Wishing I were a Wildcat

It wasn't his stud fee that turned me off, I want to say he had a high chute fee that made it really expensive to ship semen on him, and I didn't want to drive to weatherford. I still really like him it just pushed me out of my budget.. maybe another time! That is exactly my concern. $2500 + $500 Chute Fee + Shipping. I went with ASOF instead, just looking for validation of my choice! lol
I could be remembering wrong, but when Sue had him, I'm sure she told me the first 2 shipments were included in his stud fee. That was the first or second year he stood though. I decided to pass because my mare is 14.1-2 and I didn't want a pony. Might have messed up because my mare has thrown 3 babies 16 hands or better, all different studs. |

Location: Desert Land | I do NOT take anything away from what he accomplished or what his get have accomplished, I like him...BUT for what his stud fee is, I don't think their re-sale value is high enough to warrant breeding to him (for me).
I have a BJO yearling daughter at my house right now (not mine). Unfortunately the breeder wasn't able to get the papers handled on the mare this filly is out of so the filly is registered only as a half quarter horse so she can be eligible for all the incentive programs. She has her priced so low you can't even get one on the ground for that price and everybody balks at her price because she is "grade". Such a shame!! |

Location: Wearing a winter coat...... | I sold mine yesterday in 4 hours. She wasn't cheap either. Her dam was VERY strong tho. I am breeding to him this year also- fingers crossed. I don't think people give him the credit he deserves. JMO |

| I am breeding a mare to him this year. She's 15.3H Society Road/Easy Jet - both her and her dam are proven in the barrel pen. Very excited for the cross as he seems to cross well on DFC running mares.
I was okay with the $2500 stud fee and $600 chute fee which includes the first two shipments. He has proven offspring and a standout every year, his babies have good resale value, and they spend a lot of money to market him & the Busby brand. Plus I've been wanting to ride one for a while and this was the cheapest way for me to get one!

| Blazin Jetolena's 2014 Chute fee:
$600, that includes either 3 semen pick ups, 2 overnight FedEx shipment, or 1 airline shipment.
If the mare comes to Weatherford Equine it includes all palpations, semen collections, inseminations, and pregnancy checks for up to three cycles per contract.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
