Training Expectations

My 5 yo gelding has been in training for barrels for a little over 90 days. He went there broke with plenty of miles on him and ready to learn. I know what I expect from this much training I am curious what you all expect. I have never sent one to a trainer for this long, when I dropped him off I asked that if he was not going to be a highly competive horse to let me know and I would bring him home and go another direction and the trainer assured me they believe he will be wicked. So after 90 days what should I expect?

Easpecially because he was already broke he should be running fairly decent. I had one for.60 days did basics AND pattern work she was cruising when I saw her. Maybe that's quick but you'd be surprised what a GOOD 90 days can do.

That is what I am hoping/ expecting. I would hope he is ready to take to time only runs and cruise through. Hoping I just need to take him and show him the sites for awhile and start running him this fall. Just wasn't sure my expectations were realistic thanks!
