research lecithin, there are some articles.  I just got started this winter after treating a gelding for ulcers with ulcercure OTC.  Ladyjockey is who told me about it.  It's very cheap (I buy from bulkfoods)  I'm still waiting for full fledged riding to get a good idea how it works. But, I like the science behind it.
