Location: Bandera, TX | What was your horse's preferred method of eating this pill? The first day she ate the entire thing with her feed, the second day I tricked her with a few horse treats, yesterday I had to grind it up, mix with molasses and squirt in her mouth.....
What worked for you? I'm worried to waste any of the medicine... Thank you. |

Location: North Dakota | I crushed mine and added it to her feed. She isn't a picky eater though so she eats pretty much any type of powder I add to her feed. I have another mare though that I'm sure would have given me trouble. |

| Crushed it, mixed with rice bran, salt, and put in feed. Never knew it was there.

Location: Bandera, TX | Thank you - I thought about crushing it and putting it in her feed - just woried that she will not eat it then.... Might have to go this route in a few days though...
How long till you all saw results? Mine is high on all 3 EPM markers, yet does not show any of the "classic" neurological signs. |

same with mine for the Neuro signs. I noticed a difference after the first 5 days but I had to treat again with another 10 day of just the Levamisole about 30 days after the Orogin because he started dragging again. After that 10 day it hasn't returned. |

Did you re-test? If so, how soon after treatment? |

I did not retest, only because the Levamisole is only $40 for 10 days. Cheaper than testing and it won't hurt them if it's not EPM. He stopped the tow dragging, tripping, gained weight, and returned to normal. He still has significant muscle atrophy in his hind end, unfortunately, but he has now become my daughters horse(walk & trot). My vet thinks that he'll never regain the muscle because the nerves to those muscles are dead from the epm. |

Location: Smack Dab in the Middle | My vet ordered mine compounded as a paste. Had apple flavor in it and she took it like a champ. Difference was night and day by about treatment day 7 or 8. I retreated at 1 year just because it made me feel better. She is 110% a different, happy horse. |

Happy to hear yours recovered so well! It is a very interesting disease. |
