Location: relocated to Texas | I think this bit is great to help a horse finish a turn. I have duplicates of a couple of these bits and would be willing to sell them if you are interested. |

Location: South Dakota | Thanks...I already have the All Around to Win...the horses I've tried it on, haven't been all that thrilled with it...seems like they are intimated by it somewhat, and I really have to be soft and easy with my hands...otherwise, they get worried.. It seems okay for just pasture riding, but to work barrels, it seems to overwhelm them...Maybe I'll have one for sale :) |

It does have a little gag so if you tend to pull and don't release pressure, a horse would push into it I'm sure.

I rode my 4 yr old this afternoon in it, just pasture riding...and could tell it worried her a little....so before I went to work barrels on her...I switched her to regular Paul Humphrey draw gag.....and she felt really good in that....so I think riding in Fred's bit....just sharpened her up a bit...I see that Fred recommends it for horses 5 yrs and older...so will keep that in mind and it may work very well to alternate with every now and then... |

Location: South TEXAS | i have the school to win and I use it for runs only on a horse that runs too hard to first and doesn't like to rate down at a show. you definitely have to be careful with these bits because if you use heavy hands it will be way too much.
I have also used it to do drills on some others and it gives them a different feel so I like it for that sometimes. |
