Location: Northern CA | I am so not a bridal/baby shower goer, but one of my close friends is having a baby shower for her first child this weekend. This is her 3rd baby shower so I am sure she has accumulated most of the commonplace items. Any ideas for unique and/or useful gifts? |

Anyways - maybe you can do something engraved, if they already have a name picked out?

Location: NC | DIAPERS!!!!!!! trust me I have a 2.5month old and u definitely go through a ton. Get some of the bigger sizes like 1 or 2s because a lot of people will get her the NB and depending on how big her baby is they might outgrow that size before using them all.

Location: Texas | I have a 4 y.o. and a 3 month old. By now, she's gotten a LOT of cutesie stuff so I would go with practical.
Diapers - go with size 2 or larger. They outgrow NB and 1s REALLY fast. My preference is Pampers Swaddlers. We've had the most luck with limiting blowouts with those. Wipes - You can never have too many. Half shirts - they make these little half shirts that are AWESOME. We still use these, but they are a lifesaver until the umbilical cord falls off. Butt paste - I'm a fan of Boudreaux's butt paste Gas drops Baby wash
It's not unique, but it's stuff that a new mom will NEED.
One more thing. This time around we bought a Snug-a-Monkey. My son sleeps in that instead of a bassinet. It is WONDERFUL! |

| I bought a set of really cute baby seat strap covers. They go over the seat belt part of the baby seat to keep the nylon from rubbing the baby's neck. I found them at Walmart, but my friend who was in NC never got any and I'm sure she had at least a couple of showers due to family being all over and split families, etc. I also bought diapers and baby wipes. I've heard that you can never have enough of either. |

| Grocery store gift cards for whatever she needs. Maybe find a maid service that you can purchase one month of cleaning for her(once a week), essential oils (with instructions on how to use them) they were a blessing when my children had gas, up set tummies, not sleeping, skin rashes. |

| It's very possible that she's already gotten one but I think the wipe warmers are really cool! They make diaper changing a little more comfortable. Another good place to look is Etsy.com for really neat and unique baby gifts!! |

Location: South of Canada and North of Mexico | I got a WubbaNub as a babygift and its AWESOME! So easy to find in the dark, babies can hold it and find it easy and its aweosme and unique I think. They come in many animals including bulls, horses, frogs etc. Here's Audrey and her bear.
