| Psalm 49:10-20 For he sees wise men die; likewise the fool and the senseless person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Their inner thought is that their houses will last forever; their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. Nevertheless man, though, in honor, does not remain; he is like the beasts that perish.
This is the way of those who are foolish, and of their posterity who approve their sayings . Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed them; the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling. But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave; for He shall receive me. Do not be afraid when one becomes rich, when the glory of his house increased; for when he dies he shall carry nothing away; His glory shall not descend after him. Though while he lives he blesses himself(for men will praise you when you do well for yourself) He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light. A man who is in honor, yet does not understand, Is like the beasts that perish.
Perspective has an impact on outcome. There have been a lot of people who treasured a part of life that looked much different from another perspective. Beauty is not so important when words comes of illness or loss. The joy of riches tends to fade as our remaining years grow fewer in number.
How do we ensure that life gets better and not bitter as our days advance?
The key to a better life is in our perspective. When we treasure the things of earth we see them slipping away as life moves on. The bitter miser once had an outlook of promise as treasure accumulated. When the reality of leaving this earth came into view, that optimism changed and life grew bitter.
To become better instead of bitter, our treasure must be above. When our treasures laid up in heaven, we go to our reward. We are not leaving it! Keep life and its treasure in perspective. It will make a difference both now and FOREVER!
June 27, 2003 I found out I had breast cancer, it brought my life perspective into me becoming closer to my Savior Jesus. I've worked very hard all my life, yet things and possessions come and go. There were times when I ask myself why am I working .so hard, for this stuff , especially when I had identity theft, it hit me very hard. Realizing again things can be taken in a moment. I still work hard but for a different perspective. I share these daily devotionals in my personal journey so that maybe you can see that working for your soul is so much more, than working and losing possessions. I pray each morning Father, guide me to do all things with joy in Your Name, Jesus, to always bring the glory and honor to You. Help me to become the vessel you have called me to be. AMEN
I pray that as these devotionals touch my heart, they touch yours, to bring you closer to Jesus. working for the soul, and knowing our reward is for eternity, what peace, and joy feels my heart. All the other stuff of this world, is appreciated but it's not my life.
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
HAVE A VERY BLESSED FRIDAY AND WEEKEND, MAY YOU PUT YOUR LIFE INTO PERSPECTIVE FOR ETERNITY AMEN
