Extreme Veteran Posts: 316 Location: Tornado Alley	I love my FreeStyle . It takes the lite strips. The strips have little points on the sides that just suck up a pin prick of blood.. Mine came with a small case just a little bigger then a billfold. Just keep it in your purse!

Regular Posts: 71	Ask your your primary care doc. He probably has some free ones hanging around. Strips are what will cost you. Most now are little and take very small amounts of blood. When I worked home health we always had a few freebies around. Ask your nurse friends to help you out. You can get wholesale provider who will mail to you according to insurance provider. They will automatically send to you each month.
