What is Aculife?

I have read a few blogs and websites that people are using Aculife patches for their horses. Can anyone fill me in on the deal?
What are they made of?
What is the white/tan patch difference?
How do they affect the horse?
Is it really the "multi-level marketing" scheme that it seems?
I can't find any real info about the patches and what they actually do and I'm curious.

They are small patches that help to relieve pain. Some are calming patches. They are made of thin plastic the white patches go on the right side of the horse and the tan goes on the left. There is some kind of charge in them. One is positive and one is negative. They were actually designed for use on people. I am a dealer and will be the first to tell you that they do not work on all horses. My trainer is usually the one who patches my horses. We have used them to pull out an abcess, relieve colic, and just about everything else. Those are certainly not the normal uses.
I will say this---my paint horse was entered in the 2013 world show. My trainer rode him hard, which she always does. He was very sore and she took him and had him injected in several places at several different times and not much was helping. He was really body sore. He ran on a Tuesday
(patched
) and I began treatment for EPM on Saturday. This is what was causing the body soreness. The horse was Reserve World Champion in Poles and WOULD NOT have been able to perform without the patches.

What was said above is a pretty good explanation . I'll add my 2 cents. I had signed up to be a dealer after witnessing some pretty amazing results on my sore horse and a friend's. Other people have used them to calm a horse hath at is too frantic to perform well.
While the patches don't contain anything that crosses the skin, it does create a charge that influences your nerves. This helps alleviate pain and allows for proper bio-mechanics during the healing process.
From my understanding they were developed to use on people for the navy. Submariners apparently can't be on pain medications. I've used the patches on myself for ankle sprains, migraines and torn muscles with success. Another friend uses them for her own hip dysplasia pain.
While I am a believer in the patches it it very much a multi level marketing scheme set up. If you are interested in getting a decent price on them ask for the $100 package.

The patches are made from Sugar Water, Amino Acids and Oxygen. They are non transdermal so nothing is going into the blood stream of human or equine. You can go to Getpatched.com and there is so much information there. You can also PM me and I can give your more details. They are a great tool to have with you, wether you use them or your horse uses them. There has been a lot of money made with horse that have been patched with AcuLife for pain, nervousness, and energy enhancment. We got involved with them because of my husbands back and now we use them on all our horses and are one of the few that use them on our bucking bulls. They dont work on 100% of people or horses, but I havent had one that it hasnt worked for. You will always find negative and positive on anything like this, so do your research :
) Like I said the getpatched website is very informative.

They didn't work on my daughter's horse. I have seen results on other horses. A good chiropractor followed by acupunture is the only thing that seems to work on my daughter's horse.
