Those that use these, what do you find works best for a younger horse who just needs a bit more focus?

I love the result that I get from Oxy Gen products if it's a daily need, the Oxy Calm supplement is great. If it's more of a need just when away from home, I like the new " Focus" paste.

THE Calming Powder and THE Calming Cookies. You can combine them or use them seperate. I like them because they use tyrosine as the active ingredient where most products use magnesium or tryptophan. Tyrosine works with neurotransmitters in the brain to help focus and the calmness comes from a sense of well-being while magnesium is a mineral and affects the muscles in the body.

I second the OxyGen products. I use the Oxy Max, Oxy Calm and Focus on my colt and it helps tremendously! Does not make him a dead head, just helps keep him a little more focused and less nervous.

I have used the Keep Cool from Silver Lining and like it, but I really like the Equine Oil they have. Just rub it inside their nostrils before you run. It works better for the young ones when I first start taking them somewhere rather than giving a feed through everyday.

I really like the THE. The prices are great and if you aren't happy with it you get your money back. Can't beat trying it!

I found that the best thing is U-Guard. We tried a lot of the calming products and the best thing I ever did was get U-guard.

Great results with Animal Element's In the Zone Paste... improves focus, coats the gut, keeps them eating and drinking and wont take the run out..
