| I had one, I did like the saddle but the seat was just soooo wide I couldn't ride very long in it without back pain. |

Now this is an interesting statement. Do we have a PT or Otho on the board that could explain this? |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I had one and love how it fit my gelding, but the only thing was the swell was not very tall and I like taller swell's and a taller saddle horn. I felt like I had nothing to grab onto while running barrels so sold it, but I really did like my Ironhorse. They are a very well made saddle, and like the droped rigging on it. |

Location: Central ND | I found one and bought it. Got a VERY good deal on it so I couldn't pass it up. I cleaned it up and oiled it up good and it looks like a new saddle again :D I've been at work this week so I will get to try it out this weekend. I did sit in it on the stand in the house and I am actually used to wide seated saddles (both my ranch saddles have wider seats). This one hadn't seen too much oil but man after a coat or two, I can't believe the quality of the leather. I will try to remember to post some of the before and after pictures I took. I think the drop rigging will be nice, and teh way the gullet and bars are is what seems to fit my horses. I like the taller horn on this and the overall "look" of it. Now just to see if it rides as good as it looks it would!! |

| The look of them is really nice. They look a bit more "ranchy" than like a barrel saddle, which I prefer. I had a real hard time parting with mine, just wish It had been narrower! |

Location: Living in my Promised Land | Mine was so well made and I loved the looks of it and the leather was great. It worked well for the gal I sold it to.
