Expert Posts: 4121 Location: SE Louisiana	I remember the Potomac being large enough at Wash.DC it had a tide like any ocean. I live 50 miles from the Gulf and they pull sharks and stingrays out of the bayous here all the time.... all the while on the lookout for gators...

A Somebody to Everybody Posts: 41354 Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas	Have seen on the news and River Monsters how the Bull sharks have no problem swiming up river from the oceans, that they like fresh water. Some scary stuff there
