I think saddles are very person specific. It's like asking someone what their favorite kind of ice cream is. |

Realistically, I would purchase another Tod Slone in a heartbeat. |

I had no idea! I've only ever seen his rope saddles.
I change my answer! If you have unlimited funds and want a super quality saddle, you can't beat a Hogg. I know a girl who ran across one in a pawn shop, poor sucker just didn't know what he had. She got a screaming deal on it. Turned around and sold a 1993 trophy saddle for $3500. If the year hadn't been stamped on the fender you'd have no idea it was that old. |

Wow! I wish I could come across one in the pawn shop! I'd keep it!
I have a belt he made for me in 2008--I've worn it daily and it still looks like it did the day I got it. I also have tripping breastcollar he made for my dad back in the early 90's. I use it on my head horse now and get compliments on it everywhere I go.
I grew up about 15 minutes from his shop. Used to love to go watch him work :) |

Glad to know this saddle has the taller horn. It is a must for me. |
