BBR Shootout- On-Site Tack Repair

This is a little early, but I thought I would give everyone a heads up. We offered on-site tack repair at the BBR Shootout last year and had a lot of people come up and say they wished they had known so they could have packed the items that needed repair.
So here is your advanced notice. If you are coming to the BBR Shootout there will be a vendor that does on-site tack repair.
Good luck to all the horses and riders that will be competing this year!

What's the date for the Shootout? I do have some tack, but I have to remember to bring it!

Question: I had a horse flip over on a Billy Cook & bent the horn down. Do you have get down to the tree to repair the horn?

Yes, the saddle would have to be taken down to the tree and either the horn or the tree would have to be replaced. If the horn is replaced the tree would need to be recovered with rawhide.

We will also be offering a free saddle safety check for anyone that is interested. We look at the stirrup leathers, stirrups, tree, and rigging to make sure everything is in good shape and ready to go. If anything is found you are notified right away and appropriate repairs are made only upon your approval.
