Location: Loma Linda, CA | I asked back in May for trainers, but I hadn't quite lived in the area yet.
There was one person recommended to me (melanie southard) who I wanted to work with, but it didn't work out plus she's about an hour away!
Is there anyone on here that lives in the area that knows of anyone that gives quality lessons and can come to me? My horse is boarded in Redlands so ideally I'd find someone close to there.
I am running into some road blocks and need an extra set of eyes (maybe hands?) on me or my horse.
There are some people I've found, but they are the backyard trainer type that barely know what they are doing! Lol.
I'd ask my trainer that I Have my apprenticeship under, but he is more of a foundation/reining trainer and has no clue about barrel racing lol! |

| Not sure about anyone who could come to you. Lyndee Stairs offers video lessons (she's in central CA near Fresno) Jerri Mann is in Bakersfield, and BayRose here on BHW is JUST outside the San Berdo county line.

| Michelle Lang is in Moreno Valley up near Box Springs. That's not far from Redlands. She doesn't go to clients but is a great trainer if you can get to her. Inbox me if you would like her number. |

Location: Loma Linda, CA | I am unable to go to trainers since I lack a trailer... which is why I was looking for a mobile type trainer :)
Also, thank you everyone for your responses thus far! It's always appreciated!
Once I get a trailer than seeing Michelle is a total possibility! :) I might be getting one at the end of the month! We shall see! :D

Location: SoCal | Had a blonde moment of forgetting just how big San Bernardino County is! I don't know of anyone training around here as I do all the training for my horses, but perhaps look on the NBHA websites for the districts around you and see if you can find trainers though that. I wish you luck on finding someone who is able to come to you and help you out, finding a good trainer is hard work! |
