Lee Ann Rust's Harley is a solid paint and he has been to the NFR in the last few years.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
HELP ME OUT ON THIS ....>>

In this article Lee Ann Rust speaks on Harley and sez she owns his sire who is a registered paint and half Thoroughbred ... and then look at the allbreed pedigree used in the article which is a joke ... even shows him as a quarterhorse .. and where is the TB side of his sire .......... lol

I think one glance at his dam will tell you where Harley gets his greatness ...

CURRENT ALLBREED PEDIGREE ... STILL NO TB LINES IN HIS SIRE ..
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ss+streakers+r+us

Just curious ...

don't take this wrong ... this is an overall good honest reply interview with some very good sound facts and statements made on the effort and care she makes rodeoing and taking care of Harley ...

I'm not sure what to make of your critique. Is it that Harley is mostly QH? (My gray overo mare has less paint lines than Harley does) or is it that Leann said his sire was partly TB? Having been GROSSLY misquoted in print by various media outlets myself, I'd put my $$ on the fact that Leann is quite aware of her horse's breeding and the reporter had potatoes in his/her ears.

I remember seeing pictures of Harley's sire and he was a Tobiano.  And yes Harley's mother is from the Streakin Six line.  If I remember correctly she had six own daughters of Streakin Six she was breeding to her paint stud.

Breeze Bar (qtr) by Three Bars wasTB  along with Precentage, Myrtle Dee, Luke MCLuke and Midway in the line on top.  That's what she is quoting for TB in his line, but Harley should be reg APHA and shown in ABP as paint not qrt.

Bounding thru was the tb line crossed on paint.  This cross made several super nice horses like boundin hut bars and flash thru bars.  I have a grandaughter of Flash thru bars that I really like.  That top side is actually pretty impressive in the paint world.

I have 2 solid paints and they are my 2 favorite horses. I tend to forget they're paints...told the vet they were AQHA when he was doing coggins. Oops.

I heard that the indians always rode paints because they were the only horses slow enough to catch on foot.  So maybe the question you should ask is why aren't there any indians in the NFR.

I've ran a solid paint before. Everyone thought he was AQHA until they saw his blue eyes and really looked close at his creamy sorrel color. Ugh, He was gorgeous!!

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/jl+lacis+bow. this is my guy here, smart and fast, as you can see not much paint in his line but he's a bay tobiano. this cross has produce 3 triple a horses, so color means nothing.
