My new little gelding is doing great, but I want to make sure he is drinking enough water. He sniffs it, but I haven't seen him drink. It is available to him as much as he wants, and my good horse took to it quickly when we moved her there (and she is kind of fussy about water). I don't know that he isn't drinking it, because I board at a friend of mine's and she makes sure they have plenty of water available. He looks good, and is acting fine, so I'm thinking he's still just getting used to it, but I want to do as best for him as I can. Any tips or ideas, or just give him a little more time since he has only been there 3 days? Thanks!
