Location: Kansas | I'm loving mine. If you have any specific questions you are welcome to PM me. The past two + weeks I have been staying in mine waiting on a house remodel, to finish. Will be living in it for another 2 weeks. I'm sure my dogs and I will be glad to have more room, but we are pretty comfy.

Location: midwest mama | I have looked at the Lakota trailers several years at the NFR now, and I have several friend who now have them. Here is my opinion - take it for what it's worth:
The living quarters part is usually done well (Lakota was originally an RV company so they have years of experience at that.) No real complaints there.
The welds, etc. seem to be pretty good - not as good as some trailer manufacturers, but not nearly as bad as some others.
They are fairly light so they pull well.
Most of the complaints I have heard are about the horse compartment - because these trailers are lighter, the walls don't seem to be as thick or something. They seem to dent easier, and the matting on the walls seems to scuff off pretty easy. I have several friends who have horses who are kickers in the trailer and they said that in their Elites, Platinums, 4 Stars, etc. (that they have had before) the horse has only dented the wall a little by kicking, but the same horses have actually been able to kick holes in the walls of their Lakota.

Location: Texas | Thanks, I was just wondering. We are going to buy eventually and just trying to do my research on them. There are so many different brands and they all are different. Of course you have the top of the line and bottom. But sometimes that top of the line can have flaws too.
