What is everyones opinion on the best hoof supplement. I have mine on SmartSox because my mare had sore heels last summer and trying to prevent it but she hates them and will not eat them. Thinking of trying Farriers Formula?? I had her on integrity last summer/fall but when I stopped I didn't notice a difference in her feet so I assumed it wasn't doing anything.

THE Hoof Growth is great. It's a powder and most seem to eat it just fine. It has Biotin and Metionine which is what most people want in a feed through hoof supplement when they call me. It does have a money back guarantee so no worries about wasting money. Also this month is a buy one get one free so you get 2 months worth for $120 shipped.

The best I've ever used is Equine Relevare Hoof Dressing. It's gotten pretty hard to get but I can still find at horse shoer supply companies.

I use Biotin Blast from horseguard.com 100mg per dose, highest you will find. $80 bag lasts me about 3 mos. I prly had about 6 pulled shoes last year and none this year! knock on wood, lol
