I'm having a hard time justifying the drive to Waco when Glen Rose is so close to me.
Pros for ANHA.
1. Lots more added $$$$
2. No late fees
3. Can enter up to last 25
(Moonshine has the damn NBHA dumb rule that you must enter before the 1st horse runs
). For some reason that rule on top of a late fee makes me want to justify the drive to Waco.
Those reasons would decide it for me if I was hauling:
)
I didn't know what the Moonshine was and now that I know..I couldn't agree more..this is a no brainer..LOL
Well yeah, but I only live 5 miles from Glen Rose and only have a green 4 yo to haul... LOL! Otherwise it would be ANHA for sure! TX19 shows that I've gone to have been great...but I hate the rule about entering early. Other than that district
(mostly because of the director
) I see no point in supporting them. They're stuck running things the way they did 15 years ago.
Just an FYI incase you didn't know ... this isn't an TX19 show...

So it's going to be bad ground and bad producers. Doesn't sound like very good

Definitely ANHA!! It's a great barrel race all the way around!! They always have great added money, saddles buckles etc..... Plus it's easy to enter and they will take in account of what will be a good "time" for you to run within an hour or so if possible. And if nothing else the no late fee with great ground is a sale for me!!

Yes, separate race on Saturday and Sunday, you can enter just for the day but if you want to try and make the finals you must enter both days. The finals is on Monday. They take the top 15 in each D both days back to the finals. How this race differs is in the finals you are just competing against your D, doesn't matter what the winning 1D time is in the finals. They take your qualifying time and your finals time for the winning average time so the higher you place in your D the better your chances are in the finals.

Yeah somehow they let the director of a DIFFERENT district get this race sanctioned INSIDE TX19.....

That's BS and they wonder why they don't have hardly any members in Texas anymore.
