 Don't Wanna Make This Awkward
Posts: 3106
Location: Texas | I don't want any of the big names, I already know most of the "popular" ones. Im looking for someone who is just starting to get their name out or one that doesnt have prices that make you want to pass out. I know there are some girls on here that have been playing around with tack making, so if you wanna make some cash, PM me. What i'm wanting will include some bead work but im open minded on changing things up. Im not saying I want cheap tack either. Im more than willing to pay the price for a quality product and hard work, I just don't want to pay for a name and wanted to see what the other options are out there.
Thanks in advance :) |

Location: Montana | Try cavyrunsbarrels on here. I just looked at what she had for sale on FB. I think RunningRoan (could be RunninRoan) makes tack too. |

You're gonna make me blush! I have been known to make the occasional headstall or breastcollar. Beading is an unknown territory to me though. |

Location: Desert Land | Just so you know...when a company charges a good chunk of $$, you are not neccessarily paying for a name. I have helped several local high quality custom tack makers and it's time consuming and good materials are NOT cheap. The good conchos (Hansen's, Cowperson Tack, TrickyNicky) are VERY expensive but well worth the extra cost. Hand tooling/beading takes a lot of time also. |

Location: south GA | I second Andie's Tack and Leather. I have one of her sets and love it. It's very nice. You can find her on facebook. She's on here also, but don't remember her name. |

Location: Missouri | I do have to agree with the above post. You get what you pay for. Being a tack maker myself I know the costs of supplies, the amount of time etc.... We honestly don't get paid enough sometimes.
