I've been riding my gelding in one of the Clinton Anderson anatomical girths, like this with the jersey nylon liner, not the fleece: https://www.downunderhorsemanship.com/Store/Product/TACK/G/323/

Problem is, the new saddle I have has the dropped rigging, so now I lose about 3" on both sides, and the girth I have is too big, I need a smaller one, like a 26 or 28" - definitely no bigger than 28.

What are your favorite affordable girths?

I love this one, but didn't really want to spend the $$ on another one of these, I got it as a gift.

Classic Equine is what I have and really like, I think they are like around 60.00. All the good cinches are going to be pricey.
