I feed buckeye brand, the grow and win, it is 32% protein! NSC 13%. For performance horses I feed 2-3 lbs daily.

If I need to increase fat, I have added the ultimate finish 100, I have my broodmare on this.

All my horses I give 1/2 to a cup of whole flax

For supplements I have my horses on Equitop Myoplast which helps with muscle regeneration and build top line, Lubrysin for the joints.

Ulcer meds ulcercureotc

As a top dress all mine get papaya puréed, this way if I need to add anything new, they don't know the difference.

For mineral, I bounce between three, buckeye, Hoffmanns, and hipro

or

http://www.tscstores.com/25KG-MASTERFEEDS-KRUNCH-P8739.aspx#.U-qzmp...

depending on which horse, their jobs, and how easy of a keeper they are.

I love purina senior but I can't bring it across the border but have found these work well for me.

ETA: My guys are on pasture in the summer, with a flake of timothy and a round on the winter thats timothy/grass too. Outdoors 24/7 free choice.

My horses are on grass in the summer and the odd one might be on hay that is alfalfa/timothy mix. My barrel horses get fed oats that I get from one of my neighbours and in the spring everyone gets mineral tubs from UFA.

I've fed horses XTN from Nutrena and they looked amazing on it. But you do have to be careful with it because it will make some horses hot. But I've never had a horse not like it.

Currently my futurity colt is on a supplement called Equine Choice Generation 2 Supplement. I get it from Feed Store To Your Door. I really like the fact that its a prebiotic and probiotic in one and it helps maintain a healthy digestive system. My horse absolutely loves it. The supplement is produced in Ontario so it would probably be easy for you to get it if you were wanting to try it. (Alberta based web page has more information about the product)

Here is the link for the Ontario distributor:
