Location: Lost in the swamps		Hours to days of the trauma or trigger,you need to see a vet have the ulcer stained and get antibiotics for it or it can get worse to the point where the bacteria eats thru the cornea. I had an appy with equine recurrent uveitis. She would have an ulcer at least 2xa year until he eventually lost most of her sight in one eye and about 40% in the other due to the scar tissue left behind. Ulcers are nothing to play with!! The earlier the treatment the less scar tissue and You can loose an eye in a matter of days If left in treated.

Eye issues can come on fast. I've learned a lot about eyes because my gelding has uveitis which led to glaucoma and there is also scarring from where he developed an ulcer that abcessed. I've been dealing with mine for over 2 years. He has very limited vision in that eye as a result of all of this. Have your vet look at the eye as soon as possible and make sure your vet is well educated in eye issues because of how quickly they can go downhill.
